NOTES
INTRODUCTION
1. The notes refer to the Animal Welfare Act 2006, the Royal Assent on November 8, 2006 received. They were helped by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) provide the reader with an understanding of the law. HISTORY
3. The Act brings together and updates legislation, which gives support for the welfare of animals, except those of nature. The categories of animals that are protected by law as crimes.
